More than just the job
Part 1: The Morning Rush & The Walk Like every weekday morning, today began with the usual busy rush. I was hurrying around to get the kids ready for school, packing up their lunchboxes, and getting everything set for breakfast. Even though my husband was working from home today since Tuesdays are his work-from-home days the morning still felt as chaotic as ever. That crazy morning energy usually slows down the moment I drop my daughter off at her bus stop and step out for my walk. Normally, I just spend thirty to forty-five minutes walking alone and coming back home. But today was different as my husband suddenly stepped out and joined me. We had a really nice walk together. He talked non-stop, and I just walked beside him all the way back, being the quiet listener I usually am.
